Ask Dr. Ryan on radio show: What does PCF spend on AS research?

I just wrote a column Sunday asking the Prostate Cancer Foundation how much it spends researching active surveillance and localized prostate cancer.
I have asked PCF this question repeatedly since 2018. If you're a patient with low-risk prostate cancer and are thinking of donating to PCF, wouldn't you want to know what PCF has done for us lately?
PCF CEO and prostate cancer researcher Charles Ryan, MD, is appearing on a radio program with Stacy Loeb, MD, at 5-6 p.m. EST June 14.
Maybe we can get some answers—or at least try.
I asked the host Loeb, a well-known supporter of AS, if she can press Ryan to answer the funding question.

The program on Tuesday is a special that will be available via live streaming or Sirius.
Loeb told me: “The special is on Sirius XM channel 110 (same as my regular men's health show) so is accessible to any SiriusXM subscribers.
“Tomorrow's special is a general segment on prostate health including prostate cancer and benign prostate issues to raise awareness about prostate issues in the general population for Father's Day.

“Later in the series, we will have a dedicated episode on active surveillance where we go into more details about that (tentatively planned as the 6th episode in the series). I can certainly give you a heads up as that approaches in case you want to share the details with your group, submit questions, etc.
“All of the shows include questions from live callers and emails (however, we usually have way too many calls/emails to take them all so we take the most relevant questions to the topic as time permits).”

Again, Howard, you're right on! How IS the money to be spent going forward? Why is the PCF role a mystery to support groups alike? As an aside, the 22nd, emphasis 22nd, annual all-day tele-conference in October on this subject which normally includes Oregon Health Science University, University of British Columbia and University of Washington, this year will not include the latter.
Hats off to this opportunity to grill Dr. Ryan. However, first question of him should be why he is not more public before those he espouses to serve. Paying to hear garble will need happen!
