I personally was quite relieved to go on AS as I am much more anxious about surgery or radiation but I suspect many men do have a lot of anxiety about this. I bet the AUA addresses it with time.

Difficult to understand why the AUA will adopt the whole person model that is desired by third party payers. Using the PHQ 9 for depression and the GAD 7 for anxiety are self administered assessments that will provide the physician with valuable information.
