Thanks Howard. Just wanted you to know I read all your articles and reinforces my decision prior to finding your Substack to go on AS. Also have shared your information with many who have benefited.
Thanks , Harley. was on an international Consensus Panel from Movember, the men's health charity. Dr. Caroline Moore, of Imperial College, said UK was 10 years ahead of the US in prostate care. There is a tension, though, in UK over whether to have mass screening--driven by public figures like Sir Chris Hoy, a British Olympian who was diagnosed with lethal prostate cancer and the Health Secretary--vs. doctors like Ahmed, who think it may be too much and could lead to overdiagnosis and overtreatment. Great article, the Covid angle was surprising...and understandable! Good summary of 'Where we are now' and also good to see the brits being aggressive about this, might spur some healthy international competition--I have always felt (since diagnosis), that they were ahead of us. The sooner we get to a specific PCa screening imaging system (ala Mark Emberton) the better.
Howard, thank you for this info. It's really interesting data especially in Russia where AS is not very popular among PCa patients and urologists.
Thanks, Harry. Messages like yours keep me going. Howard
Tbanks, Igor. You are leading the way in Russia, Howard
